 | Randy J. Epstein, M.D. Randy J. Epstein, M.D. is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Rush Medical College and a nationally regarded Cornea and LASIK Surgeon in Chicago. Dr. Epstein received his Medical Degree from Rush Medical College and completed an internship and ophthalmology residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. He subsequently completed Fellowships in ocular immunology research and cornea-external diseases at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, sponsored by a Research Service Award from the National Institutes of Health/National Eye Institute, the Heed Foundation, and the Heed/Knapp Foundation.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology, the Chicago Ophthalmological Society, the Ocular Microbiology and Immunology Group, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery/American Academy of Ophthalmology (ISRS/AAO). He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). He received the Honor Award from the AAO in 1994, and the Senior Achievement Award from the AAO in 2004.
Dr. Epstein's special interests include the surgical and laser treatment of presbyopia and other refractive errors, immunological diseases of the cornea, and the treatment of laser, refractive and cataract surgery complications. He lectures frequently, both locally and nationally, on many of these subjects.

 | Richard Grostern, M.D. Richard Grostern, M.D. is a native of Montreal, Canada where he received his Bachelor of Science from McGill University. He received his Medical Degree from The Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois, after which he completed his ophthalmology residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Grostern holds the academic title of Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Rush Medical College.
Dr. Grostern is an experienced Chicago LASIK Surgeon and has expertise in Lasik Eye Surgery and other types of Laser Eye Surgery. Prior to returning to Rush and performing LASIK Eye Surgery in Chicago, Dr. Grostern attended a Fellowship and served as Clinical Instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Grostern is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) where he has served on numerous Academy committees. He teaches multiple courses at the annual meeting of the AAO and has authored numerous original articles, book chapters, and research abstracts.

 | Parag Majmudar, M.D. Parag Majmudar, M.D., is a widely respected LASIK Surgeon at Rush Medical Center in Chicago where he performs a wide range of procedures for Laser Vision Correction in Chicago. Dr. Majmudar graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, as part of an accelerated honors program in medical education. After receiving his degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, Dr. Majmudar completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago, serving as chief resident in the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Majmudar also completed a subspecialty fellowship in cornea, external diseases and refractive surgery at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago where was actively involved in patient care, research and teaching of LASIK in Chicago. Dr. Majmudar is a highly regarded lecturer and instructor on the subjects of corneal and refractive surgery. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Rush University in Chicago, as well as being the former Co-Director of the Corneal Fellowship at Rush where he was active in teaching techniques of corneal transplantation and cataract surgery in addition to providing LASIK Eye Surgery for Chicago area patients.
Dr. Majmudar is an active member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery as well as the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and he recently received the Academy's Achievement Award. Jonathan B. Rubenstein, M.D., is a well known Corneal Specialist and LASIK Surgeon in Chicago and is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Vice-Chairman, Department of Ophthalmology and attending physician and Director of Refractive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois where he provides LASIK in Chicago, Custom Lasik, Lasik Eye Surgery & other many other types of Laser Eye Surgery in Chicago.
In addition to providing LASIK Surgery in Chicago, Dr. Rubenstein is respected for his expertise and experience in cataract surgery and lens implants and corneal transplants as well. Dr. Rubenstein has served as principal investigator in clinical trials of Laser Eye Surgery using the Excimer laser for PRK in astigmatism, myopia, and hyperopia and is a key instructor for the Rush Excimer Laser FDA certification course in Chicago. Dr. Rubenstein received his Medical Degree with Honors from Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at Rush in Chicago as well. In addition, he has completed a Fellowship in Corneal and Refractive Surgery at the University of Minnesota. He has published more than 40 scientific papers, lectured extensively nationally, is a frequent course director and instructor for both the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) where he often speaks about LASIK, Custom Lasik, Lasik Eye Surgery & other types of Laser Eye Surgery. Dr. Rubenstein is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He serves on the cornea clinical committee for the ASCRS and the skills transfer and digital media committee of the AAO. He is a recipient of the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Honor Award. He is a past president of the Chicago Ophthalmological Society and is on the board of directors of the Illinois Society for the Prevention of Blindness.
